Membership of the BVI NSA is $20 for 2025. You must be a member to participate in NSA events and to surf for the BVI team in International competitions should you be selected to represent the territory. 

BVI NSA sent a men's team to the ISA World Surfing Games Olympic qualifier in February 2024 held in Aricebo, Puerto Rico, USA and  ISA World Surfing Games 2025 El Salvador . Surfers competing for BVI were Rush Broderick, Zebedee Bamford and Teshawn Jones.

In May 2024 Rush Broderick rode for BVI in the Jr World Championships in El Salvador placing 81st in both Under 16s and Under 18s.
